FAQ

What is included with an “Institutional” subscription?

Institutional subscriptions receive 5 licenses and three deliverables per congress, including the full AF Market Insights Report with detailed notes from each presentation and poster.  Institutional accounts are also entitled to 5 hours of live access with the report author over the subscription term.  Finally, Institutional accounts will receive additional “ad hoc” reports published periodically by AFME at no additional cost.

What is included with an “Individual” subscription?

Individual subscriptions receive one license and AF Market Insights Reports for all seven congresses.  Reports for Individual subscribers will include an Executive Summary, PodiumShare analyses, and summary notes for each company.  The reports will not contain full details of each presentation from the congress.  If Individual subscribers would like to purchase the detailed report for any given congress, they will be entitled to a 30% discount in the report catalog.

I have an Institutional subscription. How do I schedule time with the author to discuss content live?

Scheduling will be done individually based on mutual availability through a web-based scheduling tool such as calendly.com.  Please send an email to contact@afmarketexperts.com to initiate the process.

For Institutional accounts, how are hours with the author tracked?

Time with the author is tracked by AFME for each account.  Additional hours will be available at a discounted consulting rate for Institutional subscribers.

Is this website sponsored by industry?

No. We are completely independent and do not have any sponsorship.  In addition, we do not sell advertising on our website or in our reports.

Where do you get the information for the reports?

All information is publicly available as presented at the podium and in other public venues such as press releases, social media posts, sec.gov, clinicaltrials.gov, etc.  We do not include any information that cannot be cited from public sources. Links to publications are always to “open access" documents.  If a publication does not provide open access, then the link will only go to the abstract.

How is the subscription content accessed?

All subscribers can access all content by logging into the “My Account” section of our website.  For Institutional subscriptions, the “Podium Planner” and daily “From the Floor” updates will be sent directly via email and also posted on the website.  If you are a subscriber and have any problems accessing your content, please contact us at “contact@afmarketexperts.com”.

Can you share the slide decks and posters presented at the congresses?

No.  For Institutional subscribers, the “PodiumPlanner” can be used to identify sessions to attend in person or to view “OnDemand” through the congress website, if the congress makes them available online.  However, AFME will not provide any content directly from the congress website.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Due to the high cost of attending all seven congresses annually, each subscription requires a 12-month term and cannot be cancelled by the account holder. Please see the Terms & Conditions for more details.

What is the timing for each deliverable relative to the congress?  How long after the congress are the AF Market Insights reports published?

The “AF Market Insights Reports” for each congress will be available for viewing on the website within 10 business days following the last day of the congress.  For Institutional clients, the “PodiumPlanner” will be distributed at least 5 calendar days before the congress, and daily “From the Floor” updates will be sent during the night following each day of the congress (in local time).

What other markets do you cover?

Currently, our focus is exclusively cardiac ablation for the treatment of AF.  We do not yet include pharmaceutical treatment of arrhythmia, LAA closure, or cardiac implantable electric devices (CIEDs, i.e. pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-Ds, etc)
